  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question Auto optimize databases

H.W.B

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I have tried to find this option in Plesk 12.5.
A option to automaticaly optimize each database on the server.

But i have not found this.

Is there such a option, can someone please tell me where to find this.

Thank you

Henk

Hi H.W.B,

Is there such a option, can someone please tell me where to find this.
No, there is no such option over the Plesk Control Panel, as it "could" lead to issues/errors/problems with custom settings/definitions.

Pls. use the following command over the command line on your own risk and without Plesk support:
Code:
mysqlcheck -oA -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow`

@H.W.B We have already corresponding feature request PPM-1963 about adding ability for mysql databases optimization in Plesk UI.
I have updated it with your request.
Thanks.
