Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Auto upgrade mysql & php

Does plesk ever upgrade mysql or php? Either to minor or major versions.

We currently have the latest plesk with auto updates and php is currently on 5.1. We are trying to work out an upgrade plan if one is even required.

Should we be manually upgrading theses or just letting plesk handle it all.

If we should be manually upgrading which other packages should we upgrade?

Plesk doesn't ship client's PHP, it only downloads it from original OS vendor repo and it is quite likely it may be outdated there (especially for older OS). If your OS comes with newest version of PHP, then Plesk would run this version of PHP for clients.
