  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Autoinstaller dies after upgrading to 9.5.1

adamjimenez

Basic Pleskian
I upgraded from 9.3 to 9.5.1

I got this error during upgrade:
Trying to start service named... rndc: connect failed: 127.0.0.1#953: connection refused
named dead but subsys locked
Starting named: [ OK ]
done
Trying to install chrooted environment... mknod: `/var/www/vhosts/chroot/dev/null': File exists
groups: application/x-shellscript
probably it will not work in chrooted acconts

WARNING!
During the register groups in chrooted environment found some problems(see log file: /tmp/psa_9.5.1_cos5.build95100414.15_upgrade.100426.09.34.log)

Now when I run autoinstaller from command line I get:

Installing the package psa-kronolith-2.3.3-cos5.build95100410.11.noarch
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/share/psa-horde/kronolith/locale: cpio: mkdir failed - No such file or directory
ERROR: An error occurred during installation of packages.
Attention! Your software might be inoperable.

I notice that: /usr/share/psa-horde/kronolith/locale
is a broken symlink.

If I try to remove the broken symlink it says:

rm: cannot lstat `locale': No such file or directory

Please help

Is it Virtuozzo container? Looks like there is corrupted file system.

It should be checked and fixed on Virtuozzo level directly on Virtuozzo server. VZFS is really corrupted for this container.
