Autorespond problem

GlobalServe

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

When users try creating an autoresponder, in plesk it shows active, but it is not working.
When checking Mailenable, there is no autoresponder set up.

Anybody an idea what it could be.

No errors in event viewer, non in plesk.

This is really annoying.

PS: did the thing already with the pickup event in the MTA

Regards,
Joeri

Did you tried to find any related errors in maillog?

The same error here.

We have MailEnable Enterprise Edition 3.61 version working with Plesk 8.3 over Windows 2003 Standard Edition server.
When we create an autoresponder it looks that its ok, but doesn't work.

bye

I found out when i restart the MTA with the pickup event enabled that auto responds are being sent, but twice.
When i remove the pickup event it works OK, but after x time it stops working.

Somebody a solution?

Is there any solution!

It can be related to fact that MailEnable is running services in 64bit mode and therefore could not load 32bit filter libraries provided by Plesk.

Try to switched it to 32bit mode:

sc config memtas binPath= "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\Bin\MEMTA.EXE"
sc config melcs binPath= "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\Bin\melsc.EXE"
sc config mepocs binPath= "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\Bin\mepoc.EXE"
sc config mepops binPath= "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\Bin\mepops.EXE"
sc config mesmtpcs binPath= "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\Bin\mesmtpc.EXE"

Before it may use binaries from C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\Bin64\.

Contact support team. They will check this problem directly on your server and fix it.

We also have this problem - since 7.x and it was supposed to be fixed in 8.2 - we currently run Plesk 9.5.2 and Mailenable standard 3.63 - it doesn't seem to matter what versions are run - the same thing happens.

In that it works for some accounts but fails for other accounts, no log errors in windows or mailenable but after a server reboot it works correctly. Accounts added since 8.2 on seem to be okay but older accounts seem to be the ones that fail. Deleting the mail accounts and adding them in again does not fix the problem

Anyone found a solution ?
