Autoresponder respawning

Hi all,

I am having a problem with autoresponders respawining and consuming 100% cpu utilization.

About 3 or 4 times a day the server response will become very slow. When I log into the server server I generally find 5 to 6 auto responder processes are consuming all available CPU cycles. The output of ps -ef | grep autoresponder show something line this

root 16797 16795 71 Jan05 ? 08:18:26 autoresponder [email protected]
root 20075 20073 62 Jan05 ? 05:07:26 autoresponder [email protected]
root 21993 21990 38 02:55 ? 01:52:20 autoresponder [email protected]
root 22028 22025 38 02:56 ? 01:51:52 autoresponder [email protected]
root 22042 22037 38 02:56 ? 01:51:42 autoresponder [email protected]

I have checked each of the email accounts listed to see if there was a misconfigured autoresponder (ie forwarding to another autoresponder). However for the email accounts lised autoresponder is disabled according to the PSA interface.

Up till now the only fix has been to kill each of the autoresponder processes.

Any one got any ideas?

Thanks

Did you ever find a fix for this? I'm having the same problem.
