Question AWSTATS: deactivate dont delete webstat files in logs

I have deactivated AWSTATS and wont use it anymore. I see hat 4 files in logs still exists.
access_ssl_log.webstat 36GB
access_log.webstat 22GB
webstat_tiSpbz 8GB
webstat_BeFxlq 5GB

It is save(recommand way) to delete this files manualy?

What is access_log.stat? Is this a AWSTATS-file too?

If you are not using stats at all => Yes.

What is access_log.stat? Is this a AWSTATS-file too?

It is the corresponding log - file, logging the access to your stats - pages.
