back up error message

I'm trying to take a snapshot of a clients site before proceeding with upgrading it from 10.3 to the latest version.

I'm getting this error:
"Operation backup_env with the Env(s) "slimperfect.com" is finished with errors: Can't initialize new backup: ."

does anyone know why this is failing, or where to find the log files that may have more information?

fixed - had to wait

I tried it again the next morning, was able to back up just fine.
