Backing up psa-7.5.4

Hello All ,

Kindly tell me how to backup acounts in the psa-7.5.4 plesk installation .

Hey, look what i've just found at

psadump - this utility is used for backing up the configuration information and the data by storing it in the dump-file
psarestore - used for restoring the backed up configuration information and data at the server from the dump-file

Sir ,
Thank you for taking the time to write on this issue .I would like ask one thing .My plesk insatllation shows

psa-7.1.5-rh9.build71041019.17
psa-7.1.7-rh9.build71050228.12
psa-7.5.4-rh9.build75050824.12
But the version which is shown in the control panel is psa-7.1.5 .How can i remove other insatlations .

and then upgrade to psa-7.5.4 .This is a live server and the dump is not working because of these many installations.

rpm -e --nodeps psa-7.1.7-rh9.build71050228.12 psa-7.5.4-rh9.build75050824.12 will do ??

Hi Sudheer:
First you need to make sure that your Plesk database version is also 7.1.5:
> mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa -e"select val from misc where param='version'"
If the Plesk psa database version is still also 7.1.5 - then it is OK, and you can proceed with removing other installations almost like you proposed:
> rpm -e --noscripts --nodeps --justdb psa-7.1.7-rh9.build71050228.12 psa-7.5.4-rh9.build75050824.12
(all those keys --noscripts --nodeps --justdb are required to keep other Plesk files, and avoid the dependencies failure).

Sir ,

From the output i guess its version 7.5 ..Oops ..I am finished .The dump is also not working .Even though it is run by cron.

In the /var/lib/psa/dumps/ directory .There is a folder by all the domain names .But inside every folder a backup_restore.err_log .

When oepning it the message is "" You are running PSA version 7.1.5 . This script will work properly with PSA versions 7.5.0 - 7.5.x only. "".
