• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

backup and restore problem

Hello all,

Every time I try to back up I have the following popup and it does not complete the back up process.

Can you tell me how to fix this problem?

The process cannot access the file
C:\inetpub\vhosts\domain.com\statistics\logs\access_logs because it is being used
by another process.
Abort dump?

While it was backing up, it stopped everything, but I don't know why It keep saying being used by another process.

HOw can I find out what process is using this file. How can I stop it?

Thanks for any help.

I also have this problem.

I guess it might be possible to get around it by stopping all plesk processes in the Windows Services module, but I have given up trying to second guess the Plesk boys - it almost always goes horribly wrong!

Anyone know how to sort this problem with the backup utility?

I have the same problem!!

I'm so tired of 6.5.2 errors... I'm trying to upgrade to version 7.x - but would like to take it to the test lab for upgrading..

But it dosn't seams to so easy, damn what had happend if the disks broke down...

Zzzz Plesk isn't so fun as it used to be :(
