Backup issues with Plesk 11.5.30

After Migrating all Clients from an old Plesk 10 installation, the new Plesk Server does not complete the backups successfully, the errors are:

Failed to pack files backup_xyz.de_user-data_1403042200 in /var/lib/psa/dumps/clients/... [ 480631982080 bytes free of 527722516480 bytes total on mount point 0] (there are approx 850 GB available on the volume)

/bin/tar: subdomains/xyz/error_docs: Funktion open fehlgeschlagen: Keine Berechtigung (no permission)
/bin/tar: subdomains/xyz/conf: Funktion open fehlgeschlagen: Keine Berechtigung (no permission)

I had just this problem today too. I fixed it by changing the permissions on xyz and ffz folders so group and everyone had write permission. Previously, they could only read.

the permissioning issue is probably easy to fix but what about the size issue ?
