Dear Plesk Experts,
I own a Root-Server XXL from HostEurope (Parallels Plesk Panel v10.4.4_build1013111102.18 os_Ubuntu 10.04) and every time a backup process starts the server load goes higher than 100 and the server stops responding until I kill all apache2, gzip, tar processes and stop the backup procedure.
It starts with mysql going over 130% of the CPU and a lot of apache2 commands in TOP using around 20-40% of CPU.
It does not matter if it's a full server backup or it's a backup configured from the webspace. I noticed if the webspace is under 1 GB, the backup finishes without the overloading the server. But with wespaces around 4-5 GB, no chances.
Do you have any ideas what can cause this problem? Please let me know if any other details might be useful to identify the source of problems.
Thank you for your help in advance!
