TITLE:
Backup process don't want start, size calculation ignores files to skipp
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
Plesk Onyx
Version 17.5.3 Update #43
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:Plesk Onyx
Version 17.5.3 Update #43
The backup process don't want start, because the free server space is not enough for the calculated size of files to backup. But the calculation ignores the configured files to skipp. So it is not possible to start the backup.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:1. 600 GB hard disk, 460 GB filled
2. Backup settings: Full Backup, directories with 440 GB should be excluded
ACTUAL RESULT:2. Backup settings: Full Backup, directories with 440 GB should be excluded
Backup process don't want start, error message, not enough free space
EXPECTED RESULT:should be start, because there are 140 GB available and only 20 GB necessary (460 GB - 440 GB files to skip)
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:The backup size calculation script multiplies only the stored size values of the database and does not substract the size of the files which should be excluded.
