  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Backup using all the memory

I have recently upgraded to 9.5.1 and since then I've had a problem with the nightly backup using a lot of the servers memory and in some cases this is leading to the server crashing.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this?

I have the same problem, as well as others with the backups, and there was some statement in another post that said backup problems are being handled by the software engineers, after weeks of seemingly denial by plesk administrators on this forum. Maybe this nightmare will end soon.
