Backupfile in repository has no content after download

New Pleskian
My Plesk is version 10.4.4 Update #40 on Linux 2.6.26-2-xen-686.
All backups made with the backupmanager and listed in the Panel showing a size of about 14MB.
After download the backupfile the backupfile has no content.
I looked in the Linux plesk repository via the shell, it looks OK the file has the proper content.
Does anybody have a resolution?
