I have just swapped from ubuntu to Alma Linux on a Ionos dedicated server, past 10 years I was on Centos but was forced to change to a new server by Ionos.

Everything has been fine after re-imaging the server but now have this error when Plesk tries to run an update.
The full log is below but this seems to be the problem.
mysqldump: Got error: 1932: "Table 'psa.WebsitesDiagnostic' doesn't exist in engine" when using LOCK TABLES
I have searched the internet for that error and found nothing.
Could someone point me in the right direction please.
I will be looking in /var/log/plesk/install/plesk_18.0.68_installation.log when I get home in a while...

I have now tried a command line plesk repair installation and plesk database repair but get the same error.
There are no database dumps in psa/dumps
Is this likely to be a problem with the server image installed by Ionos a week or so ago?

Double check the PSA database for WebsitesDiagnostic (you can refer to https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...ccess-the-Plesk-psa-database-in-MySQL-MariaDB for how to check the databases, if you have access to the panel checking it through phpMyAdmin would be easier).

As long as that table is there, then it's more likely related to https://www.dba-ninja.com/2020/07/h...t-in-engine-error-for-mariadb-error-1932.html (you can refer to the first link for how to run database queries against the psa database).

My main thing would be to make sure of the permissions is set correctly and running plesk repair installation (see Plesk Repair Utility: Installation ).

If none of those helps, I'd suggest opening a support ticket. If your license is through Ionos then that means opening a ticket through them first but you can still open a ticket directly with Plesk. If your license is directly through Plesk then opening a ticket with Plesk would be the best option. Thank you for the reply.
The PSA database does not contain that table. I created a table with that name but still get the same error.
I have tried Plesk repair but it fails saying the database can't be backed up.

I would recommend open a ticket with Plesk support so they can jump on (with permission) the server with you to help get it fixed.

Many thanks for the reply.
I have now spoken to a Ionos server tech.
He has informed me that he alone is dealing with around 15 server cancellations everyday due to ongoing issues with Plesk.
It has been going on for quite some time.

So I am off. Fortunately for me I run nothing more than a tiny vbulletin forum and a Prestashop shop.
I'm transferring the lot to Ionos web hosting ultimate.
About a 1/4 of the price and no more headaches.
