I had to take down my server to do a reimage from my hosting provider. Before the reimage i downloaded each individual sites back up, one of the sites was over 500 megs and upon trying to reupload through the browser it times out.

Is there a way to upload via ftp or ssh/telnet and what directory would i place the file in so that the back up repository can find it and restore it.

Thanks in Advance,
Theresa

No Replies :(

:( No replies...this really upsets me. I want to get this site up again and I have even thought about manually uploading it. But...my winrar only opens the first file...what program opens the second of the repository backup.

Please somebody throw me a bone ;)

Still Nothing

Well I was hoping that somebody from Plesk could help me with this issue. I am a client with 1and1 and they have not responded to their emails either. It really makes me question both program and the hosting company.

I will be seeking alternatives that are more easily to backup and recover.

I would have used the pleskbackup CLI tool instead of doing a backup of every single domain through the web interface. I'm sorry, I know that's not helping you with your problem.

:(

Nope not much help, I have already been told by others about this and it is a bit too late. Sort of my fault but I haven't much experience with Plesk and I told my people to get their backups in order so I could have the server reimaged which they did but the backups are too huge to restore through the Plesk Control Panel.
