Hi all,

the Performance-Tab which provides Bandwith- and Connections-Limiting shows "Unlimited" for both settings and doesn't provide a way to really set a value (as admin, as user - no way).

I've installed libapache2-mod-bw several times and the module is actuallay loaded (LoadModule in /etc/apache2/conf.d/bw.conf). I did install this "by hand" (aptitude install) with no success and used to autoinstaller, also with no success.

Is there any special setting I am missing? What can be done to get this feature working?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers, embi

[Environment: Plesk 8.3 on Debian etch]

"You have an up to date version", see attachement.

My Plesk version 8.3 says that, (mod_bw) verison is "Nov 7, 2007" not 0.8-5. I think you're not using the latest version of plesk installer.

Try updating installer first, then update necessary compenents..

See my attached file..

That's curious. :( See attached file - they seem to be identical.

What does
Code:
aptitude show -v libapache2-mod-bw
return on your server?

$ aptitude show -v libapache2-mod-bw

Beschreibung: Bandwidth Limiter module for Apache2
The main goal, is to be able to assign a maximum (or fixed) bandwidth available to a vhost. This is achieved
inserting small delays while sending the data, thus limiting the top speed a client can use. In example, if we
assign 100kb to a vhost, the first user will be able to download at 100kb. If another user starts downloading, each
will be able to get 50kb/s max... A third, 33kb/s each.. and so on.
