Resolved Blank pages after upgrade

Kabamaru

New Pleskian
Goodnight,

After upgrading from version 12 of plesk to onix, all pages are almost blank (attached screenshots).

The hosted webs work properly, but I can hardly make any adjustments to the panel.

The health monitor also does not seem to work properly, although I do not know if it will be for the same problem or another.

Thank you very much.

Hi Kabamaru,

investigations for issues/errors/problems are done with the help of LOG - and CONFIGURATION files. Pls. consider to add the corresponding - log - entries from your "panel.log", so that people willing to help you, have something to start with for their investigations. ;)

Pls. visit AND bookmark:

Sometimes, it is as well a good idea to change the log - level ( TEMPORARILY! ), to get more informations in Plesk - log - files:

Hi UFHH01,

This is my temporally panel. ini config:

[debug]

; Enable debug mode (do not use in production environment)
enabled = on

[log]

; Log messages verbosity level (from 0 to 7)
; 0 - only critical errors, 7 - all including debug messages, default - 3
filter.priority = 7

; Enable logging of SQL queries
show.sql_query = on

; Enable logging of external utilities calls
show.util_exec = on

; Enable logging of stdin and stdout for external utilities calls (do not use in production environment)
show.util_exec_io = on

; Enable logging of APSC activities
apsc.enabled = on

I have been browsing through several pages of the panel to save messages in the log, and the result is in the attached log.

Thanks.

Hi Kabamaru,

pls. consider to repair your Plesk Control Panel with the help of the Plesk repair utility and your CentOS 7 software package manager "yum":

Example commands over the command line ( as user "root" ):

Code:
plesk repair all -y -v
plesk repair installation -y -v

yum clean all
yum update

Pls. be informed, that each repair process creates as well a corresponding log at "/var/log/plesk/", which could help in case of issues/errors/problems.

At the moment, you seem to have "PHP session" issues ( I assume this, because of for example ):

Code:
[06-Dec-2016 19:09:51 Europe/Berlin] PHP Fatal error: Access level to IndexController::redirect() must be public (as in class Zend_Controller_Action) in /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/modules/jxcore-support/controllers/IndexController.php on line 6
[2016-12-06 19:09:51] DEBUG [dbquery] [16] SQL: SELECT `SessionContexts`.* FROM `SessionContexts` WHERE (`contextId` = '47e189de9826f4503794becf8a1dd50a')
[2016-12-06 19:09:51] DEBUG [dbquery] [16] END: 0.00015 sec
[2016-12-06 19:09:51] INFO [panel] Session 47e189de9826f4503794becf8a1dd50a was not saved: not modified
[2016-12-06 19:09:51] ERR [1] ERROR: Access level to IndexController::redirect() must be public (as in class Zend_Controller_Action) (IndexController.php:6)

... which can have several root causes. Pls. consider to read as well ( after the above suggestions! ):

I executed all commands (plesk repair...., etc) and the logs are attached. (Inside panel.zip there is a .rar because the log was very large, compressed in zip was still too large to attach and .rar does not let attach)

yum update as had no effect.

"Php Session" issue is not produced due to what is described in KB119500.

From what I've been able to deduce, it's as if there are parts of the plesk panel that can not read / write to the database

Edit: The file "plesk_17.0.17_repair" is located in /var/log/plesk/install/ folder. I think it can also help.

Hi Kabamaru,

pls. consider to change the "php.ini" ( located at: "/usr/local/psa/admin/conf" ) and set the current setting "display_errors = Off" to:
Code:
display_errors = on
Afterwards, pls. restart the psa - services and try to reproduce your issue. Pls. add as well logs from your sw-engine and sw-cp-server, pls. ( => "Error log: /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log and /var/log/sw-cp-server/sw-engine.log" )

I set display_errors = on in usr\local\psa\admin\conf\php.ini, reboot the server (to be sure), eproduced the same steps as the previous time, and this is the new log.

error_log is empty and this is the content of sw-engine.log:

[06-Dec-2016 21:23:06] NOTICE: fpm is running, pid 2790

Hi Kabamaru,

could you pls. reinstall the actual package "psa-zendframework" ?

Afterwards ( if this didn't solve your issue ), pls go to one of the issue - pages and use the browsers "Error console" ( for example: FireFox: CTRL+SHIFT+J / Chrome: CTRL+SHIFT+I ) and post possible errors, pls.

When I used the "yum reinstall psa-zendframework" command it says: "The package installed psa-zendframework-1.12.17-cos7.build1700161025.16.noarch is not available."

I could delete it and reinstall it, but there are a lot of dependencies that you may not be able to reinstall:

Removing:
psa-zendframework noarch 1.12.17-cos7.build1700161025.16 installed 35 M

A greeting.

Do you still have blank pages in Plesk UI?
Make sure that you have the same output of command:

# grep include_path /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/php.ini
include_path = "/usr/local/psa/admin/plib:/usr/local/psa/admin/externals"

Is it Plesk installed on VPS or physical server? If I correctly understood, "plesk repair installation" didn't help, right?

Possibly the extension SideKick breaks the UI. It's not compatible with Plesk Onyx and new version will be released a bit later.

Now you can remove it:
#plesk bin extension --uninstall sidekick

Thank you very much again.

The problem is already solved. Thanks to all.
