As the title says, I am blocked on Plesk Obsidian 18.0.40, dated dec 2021 !
The only upgrade Plesk proposes is to 18.0.44, which fails : "There is no product aailable for your OS 'Debian' 'Linux' '9.13' 'x86_64' .
I am stuck here, with old versions of php and MariaDB. Why ?
How can I move forward ?
Thank you.

I am stuck here, with old versions of php and MariaDB. Why ?
Because you're running an outdated OS, which has been EOL for a number of years now and hence is no longer supported by Plesk.

How can I move forward ?
Upgrade your server to a new Debian release. Debian 10 is the lowest supported version by Plesk when if your license includes Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS). Otherwise Debian 11 is currently is oldest supported Debian releases without ELS. Information on how to upgrade your Debian release can be found here.

Alternatively you could migrate to another server running a supported OS (like for example Debian 13 or Ubuntu 24.04).

Also see Plesk Lifecycle Policy.
