Question Bock send e-mail accout - over send limits per hour

Sailorhost

New Pleskian
At my Plesk Reseller I can limit the amount of emails to be sent per hour.

Let's say I set the limit to 50 emails in a 1 hour period.

How to block the email that tries to exceed this limit?
Thus, preventing the e-mails from being interrupted when the limit is reached, in an attempt to keep sending e-mails and thus harming the e-mail sending service?

Can you elaborate on your question? I am not sure if I understand.

If you hit the email limit you'll have to wait an hour before you'll be able to send again. Or either increase or remove the limit. There is no other way around it.

Hola amigo!

>enter to :
>check: Activate outgoing mail limitations
>configure options:
- Default limit of outgoing emails from a mailbox (per hour)
- Default limit of outgoing emails from a domain (per hour)
- Default limit of outgoing emails from a subscription (per hour)
>save changes
"a new option is now under general Email (limit email)"
>enter to:

Note: I have it at 2000 messages per hour / subscription and 80 per email account. Beware: it doesn't always work as one expects
