  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I just noticed today a folder under vhosts that I had not noticed before. C:\Inetpub\vhosts\Servers\ Is that supposed to be there? Under that I see C:\Inetpub\vhosts\Servers\20034\localuser and it is a mirrored copy of all the sites listed under vhosts.

I'm not sure what this is. All the dates are from 2 days ago. I also noticed a FTP site that points to that folder, I'm not sure if it has always been there or not.

Any thoughts?

could someone explain a bit how this "mirroed copies" work for ftp? thank you

Each FTP site under IIS snap-in > FTP sites bounded to a particular IP presented on the server.
Each FTP site has ID; to see it expand IIS snap-in > FTP sites, there should be a column that contains site ID.
Folders under C:\Inetpub\vhosts\Servers\ correspond to FTP sites IDs and under each folder you will see list of FTP users belong to domains which assigned on that IP.

Could it be possible to erase the folders under C:\Inetpub\vhosts\Servers\ in order to avoid the mirrored copies? or would this procedure lead to site malfunctioning? Thank you.
