• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Can a client create a cron?

SalvadorS

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I create a client on plesk for an user and this user needs to configure a cron. But I don´t see the option if I access with a clients keys (right menu, sheduled task) I see the option only if I access with root keys in plesk.

Can a client create and configure crons?

This depends on whether the subscription allows it based on the service plan. If the service plan allows it and the subscription is synced to the service plan, then the client can create a scheduled task. If the service plan does not allow it, but the subscription was customized with permission to allow cron management, then the client can create a scheduled task, too. If neither is the case, the client cannot use cron.
