• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Can 'Email Directory' Be Copied To New Server

Hello All,

Is there a way to copy the directory that houses the email information for a domain, to the new server?

For example, I can copy httpdocs to the new server, and their site files will be there.

Is there a directory associated with each domain, for email, that I can copy?

If so, which directory is it (path).

I'm trying to migrate the site now, but it is 2G and going really really slow. If I can abort this, and manually move it, I'd rather ... but I don't know how to bring email over.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me.

On Linux boxes with QMail it's in /var/qmail/mailnames/<domain_name>/ usually.
