• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Can I upgrade an account changing its domain template?

I updated a domain Template increasing the number of allowed email accounts. However
it didn´t update the settings of the accounts created with that template.

I tried changing the domain Template to a different but the result is the same.

It is a weird behaviour, it is a common feature in other hosting panels (e.g: Cpanel, DirectAdmin)

Templates are used in plesk to create an object only. Permissions and limits are set according to template during creation, that's all.

So the only thing to do, is erase and create the account again? This is really poor :(

Why??? go to yourdomain > Limits and update what you need..

If this should be done for many domains, you can do this on Domains page > select required domains > Group Operation

it's a bit less comfortable then to change template only, but much more correct then your offer :)
