• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Can not add DNS record

I have a dedicated Linux server with Godaddy.com

I had one of the damains on a shared IP address. I needed to move that site to a dedicated IP address which I did using Plesk 8. Currently, a few days later, after all DNS servers propagetd I went to mydomain.com/DNS and see the following: No DNS master servers. Now, before I made a transition to the new IP address my account had the entire DNS zone set properly.

I decided to manually add DNS records, but when I click Add new record all i get on the next screen is one field for IP address...

Godaddy refuses to help saying that they can not assist dedicated server owners unless you buy their support. When i signed up with them they were able to help any time. And I rarely call for help but in this case they are clueless and the only people that could probably help, are paid service add-on.

What do I do now? Is there a way of creating a file manually and uploading it on the server via a shell tool?

Desperate.

P.S. Any better dedicated hosts suggestions welcomed as well.
