Can not move customer to another reseller

ehrenwert

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

unfortunately I can not move a customer to another reseller, because of this error:

"Einige der ausgewählten Kunden wurden nicht zu **** **** verschoben.
Der ausgewählte Reseller besitzt nicht die Berechtigung 'Verwaltung der DNS-Zonen', aber einige der Kunden besitzen sie."

which means

"Some of the selected customers could not be moved to **** ***. The selected reseller does not have permission to configure DNS-Zones, but some of the customers do."

Well, the customer does not have this permission, because no DNS-service is installed on the server.

If I check the customer's permissions there is no point "DNS configuration" or something like that.

What can I do here?

Hi ehrenwert,

please be aware, that some settings are inherited rights from the service plan(s) ( or reseller plans ), to which a customer belongs. It is not important, if the DNS - service is installed on your server, but the rights to be able ( or not being able ) to do so is still existent in your service plan(s) and therefore has to be equal, when you move the customer to a reseller ( reseller plan and it's rights ). If you have a lot of resellers and don't want to give them ( temporary ) the rights to edit the DNS - settings, just create a reseller plan ( cloning is pretty easy and is done withing seconds, afterwards change the DNS - setting option ), which equals the same settings as at the service plan and move the customer then to this newly created reseller plan. Then you modify the newly created reseller plan to the settings from the originally reseller plan and move the reseller now to the originally reseller plan... easy, or what do you think? ^^
