• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

can this be done? (DNS issue)

Hi all.

This is my first post and I'm new with pleask.
I'm just wondering if this will work and how?

I buy my domains from planetdomain.com they provide me with a DNS management console with every domain I buy.

is there a way I can just leave all my DNS entries with planetdomain.com and somehow when I add a new client and domain in pleask, I can have them point to planetdomain.com instead of using my own DNS server?

do I need to tell my MS DNS to forward request?
do I even need to have DNS install if I already have DNS with planetdomain.com?
and would pleask would with out a DNS server installed on my server.

Thanks for all your time.

I think you should correct DNS template and percise point to planetdomain.com instead plesk DNS variables.
Template is:
PLesk CP - Server - DNS.

Just set the a-records of the DNS zone (at the registrar planetdomains) to that if the ip address of your server.
