Question Can updater port be changed from 8447 ? Cloudflare issues

meech

New Pleskian
Hello,

Is it possible to change the port that the updater tool uses from 8447 to the standard 8443 like the rest of the panel? CloudFlare does not support port 8447, but they DO support 8443.

Why does the installer/updater use a different port?

Looking forward to some insight on this.
Thanks!

There are different processes and it is not possible to attach autoinstaller process to port 8443 - Plesk will be broken.
For updates, you can use command line utility. More detail in

# plesk installer --help

In this case, you can forget about the 8447 port.
