Can we safely resize system partition?

I have a problem with the size of the system partition on my Plesk web server.
When we instaled Windows 2003 server we left just 6GB for the system partition and the rest for data partition.
Can we safely resize system partition?
 
We have done resizing of system partition with Acronis Partition Magic. Everything is OK now.
