  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Cannot create new domains after updating 9.5.2 to 9.5.3

Hello!

I run Plesk 9.5.2/.3 on OpenSuse 10.3 64bit (1and1 Virtual-Server)

After I install the Update from 9.5.2 to 9.5.3 I cannot creat new Domains under Domains -> Creat Domain
I always see the Error-Message: 'Service Unavailable' Internal Plesk error occurred: MySQL query failed: Unknown column 'note_id' in 'field list'
The Version-Number at the Welcome-Desk is still 9.5.2 instead 9.5.3- despite the update.

My first step was to run the autoinstaller via ssh/shell. The autoinstaller finished succesfully, but the problem is still there.

Now I am a little bit helpless- what can I do? I have to create new Domains as quick as possible!
And I dont want to reinitialize my virtual Server because of this.

I would be very grateful for any help!

Check that you have the same version in following places:

1. # cat /usr/local/psa/version
2. # rpm -q psa
3. # mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa -e"select * from misc where param='version'"

Thanks for your quick reply!!!!!
Okay, the result:
1. 9.5.2 SuSE 10.3 95100504.15
2. psa-9.5.2-suse10.3.build95100504.15
psa-9.5.3-suse10.3.build95101022.06
3. version | 01090

and now?

OMG! You have three different versions.
Try to complete upgrade to 10.x version. But seems it would be better to contact support team for fixing this broken Plesk with mixed versions...

Update to 10.x isn't possible, because of the hosting-settigs for the VS from 1and1.
Okay, sounds like reinitializing. **** happens.
Than I'm going to backup my data.

You have database from 10.x version already. Seems upgrade to 10.x was not successfully completed.
