• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

And yet the error says unsupported OS so the extension hasn't fully been pushed out yet as the version you're trying to install is the older version. If you check now does it show version 3.0.0? If so then try to install it, otherwise wait until 3.0.0 is showing.

strange enough, from Plesk UI is not possible, still version 2 is listed in extension catalog

but with CLI is working:
Code:
plesk bin extension --install watchdog

Hi,

That is true; we have added support for modern OSes for Watchdog in the latest release. The KB articles about known limitations for these OSes are still updating.

If you saw the error while installing v2.x, it was expected - new OSes were added to v3.x. I believe you didn't see v3.x because of some cache in the Extension Catalog. If your server uses the Plesk feed for the extension updates, it usually helps to click "Check Now" on the Updates side or wait up to 24 hours.
