• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Cannot Run Perl Scripts

The problem running perl scripts persists on migrated sites from cPanel - they don't run in the cgi-bin or outside the cgi bin. I get 403 Forbidden errors. The main site on the server has no problem running any script whatsoever.

How can I run perl scripts without getting error messages?

Thanks.

Part of the script works when I rename the pl extention to cgi on vhost.

./webuser -u johndoe -domain example.com -perl true <<-- also tried this
didn't work (./webuser: No such file or directory)

I repeat perl does work for the main domain, the one I set up Plesk with.

I'm drowning in a tablespoon of water, Lord have mercy. Can you plesk help me?
