Issue Can't change PHP version: Permission denied

maybeageek

New Pleskian
Hi folks,

I can't change the PHP version for one of my sites. First off, I thought it was a reappearance of the old bug where you couldn't change the version at all. However, I can change the version just fine for most sites, so it is not.

So here's what I do: I go to my subscription, scroll down to the subdomain, click on PHP Settings.
Curious thing here is: The box besides the version is blank. Usually it would give options like FPM Applikation, or CGI or something. For this subdomain, this box is empty!
The version is set to 5.6.30, and it is running a MySQL DB and nextcloud ontop.

I can see the other available versions (for example 7.1.4), no matter which one I chose: The options under "Performance Settings" disappear, there is a spinning wheel for about a minute.
Then I am taken back to the overview of domains/subdomains, with two statements:
Green: Information: The settings were successfully updated.
Red: Permission Denied.

The setting was not updated, the version is still 5.6.30.

Any help or ideas on this?

Kindest,

Thomas

Hi,
thanks for the hint. I only could find the old bug and the remedy there did not help.
In your link the possibility to change PHP settings through the hosting settings did in fact work!

I just wonder why this would work for all my subdomains, except this one.
Anyhow, for now it works and we'll have to wait for the bug to be fixed.

Thanks!

Thomas
