Can't get into Backups page in Plesk

Hi there

I've setup backups on one of my domains with FTP details and managed to do a manual backup fine and I also used to be able to access the page to see the backup in the FTP folder.

Now however when I click the Backup link in Plesk it just hangs and never comes back. I have to restart the PSA service to get the control panel back.

Anyone got any ideas?

Not too impressed with these Plesk backups to be fair, when it restored my database it was full of errors. Luckily I had done a manual backup of MySql just in case.

It came back eventually... took about 15mins.

Could this be due to having a backup about 450MB in size that has been restored? Does it download it for some reason?

Removed it, but still no joy... still takes AGES. Anyone?

FIXED!

Seems the providers of the FTP had put a load of link files and folders into the FTP space and I can only presume Plesk was trying to traverse them all!

Have deleted all the cr@p now and it works fine :)
