Hello,

there is one topic with this message and in the FAQ too.
But I can't solve this problem.

I have Suse Linux 9.3 and PLESK 8.01.

After a Serverreboot I can't get in the frontend.
Here it appears this message:

ERROR: PleskMainDBException
MySQL query failed: Can't open file: 'misc.ibd' (errno: 1)

0: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/common_func.php3:234
db_query(string 'select param, val from misc')
1: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/common_func.php3:471
get_param(string 'mysql41_compatible')
2: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/common_func.php3:368
db_set_names()
3: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/common_func.php3:347
db_connect_real(string 'localhost', string 'admin', string '*********', string 'psa')
4: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/common_func.php3:327
db_connect()
5: /usr/local/psa/admin/auto_prepend/auth.php3:85

I have replaced the tables in mysql with a backup from yesterday, but without success.

This is written in the logfile:

Jun 28 08:35:22 pop3d: Unable to query parameter by query select val from misc where param='allow_short_pop3_names': Can't open file: 'misc.ibd' (e\
rrno: 1)
Jun 28 08:35:22 pop3d: Unable to query parameter by query select val from misc where param='mysql41_compatible': Can't open file: 'misc.ibd' (errno\
: 1)

Many thanks

Hi,

sorry, I haven't a solution.

Only a new Installation have fixed the problem

New installation of Plesk? Can that be done without wiping out clients and websites?

Or were you talking about reinstalling the entire server?

Same error. No solution yet?

Plesk? help?

Plesk people updated my server, so I know this is a bug somewhere in their software. They updated and upgraded my server. Funny,

Let us know if there is a solution.

-scan

Backup via command line (putty ssh), re-image box, restore backup via command line. All plesk related stuff should be there.

Just thought of something, not sure if Plesk 7.x can be restored to 8.x.
