  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Can't SSH with admin account

fieleman

New Pleskian
Somehow I cant login with the default 'admin' administrator account via SSH. I made an extra administrator account but still no luck. When I give one of the subscriber permission to login with SSH it works.

That "admin" account is not a system user, hence it does not have any permissions on system level. It is only an account within Plesk to log in to Plesk GUI. A subscriber account is also a system account and can have SSH permissions.

Thanks for the reply and info!

I solved it by logging in with a subscriber account and use "su" to login to the root account of CentOs
