Issue Can't update via Plesk control panel

Kostas Arvanitidis

New Pleskian
Hi all,
I've recently updated to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.20 Update #2. Now there are new package updates but on the dialog box the 'OK' button is clickable, but nothing happens.
Haven't tried yet to update via command line,
OS: ‪CentOS Linux 7.7.1908 (Core)‬
Any ideas would be helpful.

Try the command line. ;)

It should produce a more verbose error, if any. Or, before doing it, refer to logs to see what's going on. Is there anything in /var/log/plesk/systemupdatestool.log ?

Thank you Ales for the reply. I've solved it with a workaround. I enabled auto package updates, so it took care of itself!
But I think there is an issue with the UI. The buttons 'OK' 'Apply' 'Cancel' do not appear correctly on any browser. I think this is related to the issue.
Also some tabs are blank (like Mail settings).
Doing some testing, i found out that this issue is there only when i access plesk via https & domain name. If I use https with ip, everything is working fine, including update button.
See snapshot for an example.

I think this depends on the browser you are using. Some browsers do not display "insecure" content (mixed content). Do you have a valid SSL certificate for your host name? Have you set a valid host name at all? Normally, if the host name is set and you have an SSL certificate for it (Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS certificates) the issue should not occur.

Hi Peter.Thank you for your response.
I've tested with both Chrome & Firefox. None showed correctly the interface. I'm using Let's Encrypt certification for the host name (which i do have as a subdomain of one of my domains). It's in the form of pleskdomain.maindomain.com.
I'll keep using the ip address until I figure out what is wrong.
