• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Can't upgrade from 12.5 because of Virtuozzo Container

danieldaniel

New Pleskian
The pre-check of the installer is showing me:

Plesk pre-upgrade check
WARNING: Virtuozzo Container limit "shmpages" was exceeded 33 times.
WARNING: Limits set by Parallels Virtuozzo Container are exceeded. Please, check https://kb.plesk.com/en/112522 for more details.

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.5 and want to update plesk - 12.5.30 to 17.0.17

Maybe someone here can help me with this?

If you run command

# cat /proc/user_beancounters

you will see many failcnt for shmpages parameter. It is critical parameter for correct Plesk operation. You need to ask administrator of Virtuozzo node to increase it for your VPS. You can't do it from inside VPS.
