centos 4.6

plesk 8.3 & centos 4.6 HELP

hello
i am trying to install plesk 8.3 i downloaded the autoinstaller but i guess its not for this version of centos and this is the error i get


ERROR: OS template name is already defined as centos-4-x86 (try set name centos-4.6-x86)

Hi,

If this is installation of Plesk on a Virtuozzo virtual environment then you should rename OS template to as stated in error.

another possibility is that you are using autoinstaller for incorrect hardware platform (i.e. 64 bit instead of i586).

You can check hardware platform with the following command:
uname -i
or
uname -a

and the use autoinstaller for appropriate hardware platform.

For 64 bit platforms:
ftp://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Pl...er_v3.3.0_build071215.17_os_CentOS_4.3_x86_64

For i586:
ftp://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Pl...ller_v3.3.0_build071215.17_os_CentOS_4.2_i386

Use the older version of the script. It installs 8.3.0 as well:
