CentOS 6 Upgrade von PHP 5.3 auf PHP 5.5

How can we upgrade php 5.3 to php 5.5

This is for upgrade to PHP 5.4

rpm -Uvh http://mirror.webtatic.com/yum/el6/latest.rpm

yum install php54w

yum install yum-plugin-replace

yum replace php-common --replace-with=php54w-common

Hello to all, someone can help me please???

I have a Virtual Server with CentOS 6.5 (Final) / Plesk version 12.0.18 Update #13
I'm trying to install Moodle and already upgrade php to ver 5.4.31, but when I try to install I got this error back:
Error: The app requires the mysql database server version 5.5.31 or later.

Can you please help me with the step by step to upgrade this please?

I'm trying but no success yet :-(
