• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

CentOS YUM Update w/Plesk...

Hi

Relatively new to Plesk and have a couple of quick questions - I have installed Plesk 9.5.2 on a minimal base installation of CentOS 5.5, the Plesk installation has installed many other rpm's such as PHP / MySQL etc etc.

- From now on do I update the underlying CentOS installation as normal via YUM (including PHP / MySQL etc)?
- If so is there anything that *should not* be updated from the standard YUM repository?
- How often are Plesk updates released?
- What is the best way of being notified about new releases / updates?

I have checked the administrator user guide but can't see anything that covers this particular subject!?

Thanks
Rob
