• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi

I am having real trouble installing some software that is running from the cgi-bin...

here is what they say ipermissions should be:
... cgi-bin/affiliates - chmod 755
... cgi-bin/affiliates/emails - chmod 777
... cgi-bin/affiliates/templates - chmod 777

... cgi-bin/affiliates/config.cgi - chmod 777

I have given modify permissions on the whole affiliates folder....

however when i come to run the script the setup page never writes data to the config file that is in the cgi-bin folder...

I have 2 plesk servers and i tried setting it up on both of them but same problem on both

any ideas????

thanks
Mike

How do you give this CHMOD 777 and 755 as Plesk for Win?
I think you posted in the wrong place.

No windows these permissions can be edited on security.
