Change IP Address

iHuman

Basic Pleskian
How do you change the IP address for a domain?

In previous versions, IPs could be allocated to a client. Then you could easily switch the IP address. In Plesk 10, it looks like IPs can only be allocated to a reseller pool.

How can I change the IP address of a client's domain?

thanks

Go to domain's subscription and click "Change Hosting Settings" button.

That doesn't work. It only displays the IP you initially created. (even if you manually add more IPs to the client in the database).

The work around I figured out is to either:
- manually change the DNS records
- or select to reconfigure DNS records for that domain. At that point you will be able to select any IPs available for that domain.
