• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Change IP address

All,

I have Plesk 8 running on FC4 and I need to change the IP address due to an IP schema change.

Obviously, I can edit the appropriate ifcfg scripts, but I'm not sure how to make sure that Plesk recognises the change?

Any comments appreciated!

Seriously?

Nobody knows how to change a Plesk server's IP address??

Use the Reconfigurator utility:

/usr/local/psa/bin/reconfigurator.pl

It will create a map file where you can change the IP. Full instructions are in the file.

You can always hack at the database, but the reconfigurator works great. As for Qmail not working, I've never experienced that and I've done this a million times.

Thx
J
