Change root server password (NOT admin password)

prokopiss

New Pleskian
Greetings
I want to my server, to change the root password, not just the admin plesk password.
I followed the information here (http://kb.odin.com/en/346) and from the menu in plesk panel and the password in changed OK, but only for the 'admin' user.

The root user, still can login in panel and with ssh with the old password!
I must change the root pass, it is very important!

Can you please anybody show the right way to do this?
I am on CentOS 6.7 with Plesk 12.0.18 Update #66

Thank you for your time and for your support!

You have to be able to SSH onto your server as root and then just type passwd

thank you for your answer, but i am not asking how to login to my server

i think you did not understand what i am asking for help...
i have access via ssh to my server, i can login with user root and password

i am asking on how to change root user password to linux, not just to plesk

thank you again

Thats how you change the root password in Linux, SSH in as root and type the command passwd and hit enter then enter new password.
