  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Changing Document Root to new directory with

I created a static site, then decided I wanted it in Wordpress. The site was live when I made this decision, so I installed Wordpress into a directory in /httpdocs/ to set it up before launching.

Now, under that site's settings, I can't update the "Document Root" through PLESK because I am met with this warning:

It is impossible to change document root because there are web applications installed on this website.

So... do I need to migrate Wordpress to that directory? Do a 301 redirect in /httpdocs/? Is there a way to configure this and why is it preventing me from changing it to a sub-directory?

Thanks

Agreed. Double bump. Wordpress offers the ability to store it in a subdirectory of the root, and still keep it functioning, but that's not what I want. I want WP as the root directory, or the ability to change my root directory to a sub-directory with WP running.
