  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Changing LimitRequestLine in the Plesk Apache configuration

ubrogs

New Pleskian
I have to modify the two apache settings LimitRequestLine and LimitRequestFieldSize. Strangely, the setting has to be made to the first VirtualHost that gets loaded and it will then be changed for all virtual hosts. I don't understand why that's the case, but I was able to verify it works on a local test server.

But how do I find out which virtual host is loaded first? I tried with default of course, but that one isn't it.

Or maybe anyone has a different idea how to make the setting to apache?

I run Plesk Panel 11.5 on Debian 7

Hi ubrogs,

welcome to the Parallels Forums. My Name is Henning and I try to figure out how to get your problem being solved.
Do you need to set the parameters to one vhost only? Why don't you apply that settings to that specific vhost?

Kind regards!

Thank you for your reply. In the meantime I've found that the change qould require us to recompile apache, then changing the configuration. We're looking fo different solutions at the moment.
