• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Checksum problems after update

After I installed the update patch 070517.18 I got an error when I try to change my Plesk installation.

So, I can't add or remove elements of the Plesk.

I go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Plesk 8.1 for Windows > Change

Until there it's OK, but when I try to conclude the operation, the following error appears:

Checksums of the following files do not match:

C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Install\070326.13\ClientMySQL.msi
C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Install\070326.13\AWStats.msi
C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Install\070326.13\SpamAssassin.msi
C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Install\070326.13\Python.msi
C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Install\070326.13\AdminMySQL.msi

These files above are exactly the software that update patch 070517.18 has modified.

Does anyone have the same problem than me? Or... does anyone have any idea about how to solve this problem?

Thanks.

The Plesk support team has fixed this problem.

I sent an email to [email protected] telling what is happening and they resolve the problem on their side.

Now I can add and remove components normally.
