• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Just wanted opinions or offering Anti-virus free using ClamAV or offering a commecial alternative such Dr Web or 4PSA's Clean Server.

Do clients expect anti-virus to be free these days or are they more than happy to pay an additional yearly fee for it ?

Thanks .......................

It's "you way" question. We used ClamAV for a half of year, then there's was somekind of problems with it and we just disabled antivirus. Now we use Dr.Web without any hustle or problems, but it's not cheap.

I think for shared hotsing customers antivirus must be a free thing. But it's also depends on your business class - some companies that supply corporate customers can take a free for that.
