• The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello All,

We are experiencing an issue with the SSL It! extension on our Plesk Linux servers.

When accessing SSL It! from the Administrator panel, the page takes more than 5 minutes to load and displays the following error:

Error:
+++

Could not get Mozilla TLS config: cURL error 28: Failed to connect to ssl-config.mozilla.org port 443: Connection timed out.
+++

We have investigated and identified that the extension is attempting to access the following URL:

https://ssl-config.mozilla.org/guidelines/4.0.json

However, we have observed that this issue occurs only in the Administrator panel. The SSL functionality works fine in both the Reseller and Customer panels.

We would appreciate your clarification on the following points:
  1. SSL It! and Let's Encrypt: We are already using Let's Encrypt to issue and manage SSL certificates. Why is the SSL It! extension required, and what additional functionality does it provide?
  2. Administrator Panel Only: Why does this error occur only when accessing SSL It! from the Administrator panel, while the Reseller and Customer panels work without any issues?
  3. Mozilla TLS Configuration: Why does SSL It! attempt to fetch the Mozilla TLS configuration only when accessed from the Administrator panel? Is this connection mandatory for SSL certificate installation and management?
  4. Required URLs: Could you please provide the complete list of external URLs/FQDNs required by the SSL It! and Let's Encrypt extensions on Plesk Linux servers? We need this information to configure the necessary outbound firewall allowlist.
For your reference, we have attached screenshots of the error.

Kindly review and clarify the above points.

Awaiting your reply.
